Sonny Melton Scholarship Fund Established

The Sonny Melton Scholarship Fund to honor the life and legacy of Sonny Melton, a Big Sandy native who was the first identified victim of the Las Vegas tragedy, has been established at Apex Bank.  Sonny’s mother has been a member of the Apex Bank family for over forty years.

American Patriot to Merge with Apex Bank

Apex Bank has announced its intention to merge with American Patriot Bank of Greeneville, Tennessee. The merger will create a $500 million, twelve-office community bank with locations across the state and a nationwide loan servicing operation located in Knoxville.
